New Mornington Peninsula Cellar Door Experience –
Tucks Ridge
Tasting notes hang above visitors to the new Tucks Ridge cellar door.
After closing its doors in September 2017 – the new and improved Tucks Ridge re-opened a few months later on Boxing Day, with a fresh new-look cellar door, restaurant and wine philosophy.
Now owned by neighbouring winery, Montalto, the new Tucks Ridge has a fresh focus on bringing their cellar door experience to the next generation of wine enthusiasts, with their new release range of approachable wines – NOW (when viewed upside down, spells MON, for Montalto…pretty clever huh?)
Vibrant packaging of the new NOW range of wines on display at Tucks Ridge
While still staying true to their solid range of premium estate wines which are only available for purchase at the cellar door and restaurant, NOW offers a fresh and current approach to winemaking, and will be popping-up on bottle-shop shelves soon.
Wine tasting is made fun again, with a guided tasting at a high-table that doubles as a white board, so you can jot down your tasting notes as you go. Once you’re done tasting from both ranges, grab a spot in the outdoor dining area and take-in views of rolling hills covered in vines. This really is a gorgeous space and we can easily see it becoming a new favourite stop on our tours.

In the restaurant, a new menu designed around their rotisserie offers a flavour-packed taste sensation. With snacks, salads and sweets for those not feeling meaty – there’s something for everyone…we do warn you though, the views are so distracting, your food may go cold.

So while the old is gone to make way for the new, all are welcome and catered for here at this new Mornington Peninsula cellar door.
