Setting

The fit out brings together all the elements you would expect to see in a country town in a cool and inviting way. The use of corrugated iron paired with rust panels, timber and concrete gets a thumbs up all round. The space can cater for both big and small groups with a mix of standing room and seating to suit the group. It’s an impressive space and a great place to escape the heat on a warm day as the cooling works a treat.

What we like

The fact that we are fortunate enough to try the Chalmers wines. Without the partnership they have formed with Heathcote Inn it would be unlikely you would get to sample these wines as the vineyard is much further north.

What we don’t like

The winery itself is located 50km north of Heathcote town so you miss the full vineyard experience.
