Experience

Definitely an authentic brewery vibe, it’s in the Mornington Industrial Estate and is their beer is produced on site. It’s not trying to be fancy and we love the atmosphere here. Good beers, pizzas and music on the weekends. It’s not the spot for a detailed tasting rather you just order a paddle or beer from the bar and work it out for yourself. The beers here are some of our old favourites, especially the brown ale and pale ale.

Beverages

As mentioned earlier, the beers here are definitely some old favourites and have been regularly consumed over the years. The Brown Ale is special and the Pale Ale is a solid performer that is often available around Melbourne, so you may have tried it. They have been branching out into other cooler, styles including Squid Rising an excellent NEIPA. They are also into sours now, which we haven’t tried.  There is also plenty of limited edition, special releases to keep the punters interested.

Food

They make wood-fired pizzas and that’s about it, keeping it simple, these are a great match for their beers.

Setting

Set in the Mornington Industrial estate, this really is a brewery first and foremost. The beer production is behind the bar, there’s a nice courtyard and also a raised area for private functions. Definitely not fancy, but not to keep hyping on it a great vibe and atmosphere.

What we like

Beers and laidback vibes and music on weekends is always great.

What we don’t like

It’s a little bit out of the way for a wine tour, but we can make it work.
