We had a fantastic tour with Wine Compass for our company’s belated Christmas party. Our guide, Jarrad, was wonderful. He was knowledgeable, friendly and provided a relaxed and fun atmosphere. He took great care of us! The wineries we visited were varied and each special in their own way. It was an awesome event. Highly recommend. – Amelia
We had a brilliant day with Kieran as our host. We visited four wineries which included lunch at Merricks and cheese at Morning Sun. We visited two other wineries being Tucks Ridge and and Quealy, both of which we loved our tastings and the atmosphere at these wineries. The service we received from the initial inquiry was considerate and personal. Adam asked what wine we liked, our previous experiences with wine and what we wanted out of our day. Cannot recommend this group highly enough, we are planning on using the same group again next year. – Chelsey
Adam, Jimmy and team put together a great Yarra Valley winery tour for our recent team outing, we got to visit some lovely boutique wineries (including one that we requested that wasn’t on their list) and tried some really amazing wines. Jimmy also made sure that we slowed down when passing kangaroos so our international visitors could get a good look and take some photos.

Thank you to Adam and the team at Wine Compass for organising a perfect tour of the Mornington Peninsular wineries for a very special friend’s Hens Day.
Each tasting was in a beautiful setting with engaging staff and, most importantly, great wine (a personal favourite being The Old Apple Shed).
Special shout out to our host/photographer Jimmy. He was professional, knowledgeable and hilarious, and managed to keep 20+ females all very much enjoying themselves in order.

our lunch was then at the red hill epicurean for a shared lunch of pizza, pasta, salads & more wine!
third was the morning sun winery which is a beautiful picturesque place with lovely views and cheese platter
the final stop was the mornington peninsular brewery to break up the day with some beers for the boys haha (at bar prices tho – but you’re only there for about an hour anyway)

Our group loved our Hens Day at the Mornington Peninsula. Wine Compass was beyond helpful in the lead up – very accomodating our needs, particularly when we threw in some last minute changes to dietary requirements and number of attendees! Our host, Sam, was awesome – he was informative and kept the momentum going, but he was also fun and flexible (he worked with vendors when we were running a little behind schedule.) All of the girls in our group enjoyed the day! – Alicia
Ive done a couple of wine tours in Yarra valley with different companies and this was by far my favourite. We had a hens party of 10 ladies with Sam hosting and we had a blast! the whole experience from quote to the day was great – would recommend and would do it again! A HUGE thank you to the team at Wine Compass who made our anniversary special. Adam and Gabi were a pleasure to book with and gave us plenty of choices for stops. On the day we had Jarrod as our host and he was incredible. He had great knowledge of wine and an obvious passion for his job. He kept us on track whilst giving us space throughout the day.
Each place we stopped at had fantastic hosts to serve our tastings, and they all had such vibrant personalities that made the day even more fun! The tasting sizes were generous and plentiful and each stop had cheese platters or snack foods to nibble on. The sit down lunch was also amazing with such a beautiful view of the vineyards.
Thanks again to Jarrod, Adam, Gabi, and the team at Wine Compass. My boyfriend and I had a great day out and we would wholeheartedly recommend you to everybody. 🙂 – Chey – Cranbourne
A massive thank you to the team at Wine Compass for helping me organise our staff Christmas Party this year!
Adam was super attentive to our requests, made sure we were happy with all the stops chosen and ensured we were kept up to date with the itinerary, weather updates and so on. He was even able to accommodate last minute changes the Friday afternoon before our event on Sunday.
On the day Jimmy hosted the tour, he was great fun and made sure everyone had a blast. Everything ran super smoothly and was taken care of before hand that we had nothing to worry about on the day, except what wine to try next!

Jarrod was the best tour guide/bus driver I’ve experienced, and I have done a lot of tours. Jarrod genuinely wanted to tailor our day to what we wanted to experience, he listened and learnt what type wine we all enjoyed. Our driver/ guide for the day, Jarrod, was fabulous. He quickly took stock of our group’s needs and made sure to set the atmosphere for a fun-filled day. He was an excellent driver and very knowledgeable about wine making and the various varieties we were tasting. When one venue ran over time, Jarrod was able to liaise with the other wineries to ensure we didn’t miss out on our planned stops. The entire experience with all the staff at Wine Compass was brilliant and made organising this Christmas Party a breeze. Also highly recommend Quealy Winery as part of any tour. – Andrea – Melbourne
Couldn’t ask for a better day for our Christmas function. Our guide for the day was Jarryd, friendly, relaxed, courteous, respectful, and generous with his knowledge of wines, winemaking and the region. He quickly identified our wine tastes and tailored our experience to match which was fantastic. We visited Quealy, Red Hill Estate and Old Apple Shed for tastings of sime fantastic wines, liqueur and ciders, lunch at The Epicurian was great. What a great way to spend the day, delicious wine, gorgeous views, amazing lunch and a fantastic host. Jarrod was fabulous, super knowledgeable on the vineyards and different wines – he discreetly sat back and listened to our feedback on the tastings and very quickly noticed our likes and dislikes and was able to advise the next vineyards which wines each person might like (he was spot on).

No party is to big or small for this fantastic guide Adam. The day was beautifully organised by Adam. From start to finish there was nothing we had to worry about. My partner and I took our family away to Red Hill for the weekend. We booked Adam from Wine Compass on the Saturday, we all had such a lovely day together.

I recently went on a wine tour run by Adam out to the Yarra Valley for my cousin’s hens party. It was such a great day, we visited 4 wineries which included a delicious lunch at Train Trak. I’ve been to a few wineries in the Yarra Valley before not to 3 of the 4 Adam took us to and they were so gorgeous, I would definitely go back. There was a good mix of tastings and the lady running Coombe’s was just delightful. Adam knew his stuff and was so easy going with our hens group and getting us moving from one winery to the next. I especially loved that he collected the vino each of us purchased & handed them to us and the end of the day so we didn’t need to worry about leaving them behind or who bought what. I planned my best friends hens day about 6 weeks in advance with Adam. I told him exactly what I wanted and he put together a fantastic itinerary that met my needs. The day panned out perfectly and even better than I had expected. Adam is easy going, making the tour planning a breeze! He is upfront and honest, what he says is what you get, there are no disappointments. We visited some beautiful wineries and ate a delicious lunch. Adam and the crew from Wine Compass gave us a fantastic Hen’s day in the Yarra Valley for my sister-in-law. The whole day was amazing and everyone had a great time. Adam and Gabi organised everything for us and were very flexible with the plans. The wineries that we visited were just stunning and were really well suited to our group.

The bus was extremely comfortable and we were stoked to play music through Spotify. The wineries that were chosen were brilliant. We wanted to avoid the huge wineries so ended up going to the more boutique wineries which suited us all perfectly. Lunch was terrific at the Red Hill Epicurean. The whole day had a really relaxed vibe and at no stage, did we feel rushed. Heath was the perfect guide, so friendly, knowledgable and helpful! Thanks to Adam for a great day of wine tasting and your knowledge of the region. Having done these small private tours on numerous occasions we knew what we wanted and Adam was happy to accommodate the tour to our tastes and introduced us to some great little wineries (favourites being Balnarring Vineyard and Bluestone Lane both smaller wineries but the Pinot’s were nice and the people at the cellar door were fantastic). Lunch was great at T’Gallant with more than enough to eat and all included in the price.
We had 4 kids on board and there were no issues travelling with kids around the wineries.
I highly recommend this tour and will be coming back to Mornington and using them when we visit the Yarra. – Anthony – Sydney
We decided that we wanted to get away from the city and spend our work end of year Christmas party doing something a little different. What a fabulous day! Adam was a great host and recommended some very good wineries. My favourite was actually a brewery (Napoleon). Amazing ciders and outdoor seating, which allowed us to take advantage of the spectacular day we had.
It was well planned out. We didn’t feel rushed at all. Was actually quite surprised at how fast the day had gone. Adam was very accommodating with our pick up/drop off needs, which we really appreciated.

Went on a very private tour in late December. Adam was a very personable guide and extremely knowledgeable of the Mornington Peninsula area. I had a friend visiting from Sydney, so we organised a day of it and got a group of friends together for a ladies day out. Adam did a really great job of putting together a tailored itinerary for us (and dealing with all my demands) even including a trip to the hot springs!! Each and every one of the wineries we visited was amazing, and exactly what we were looking for. Adam was lots of fun to have around, very professional and even put up with our choice of music! 🙂 It was a really great day, and we’re planning to do it again some time soon. Our host Heath was amazing and looked after us very well. The tour was intimate and personal. Each winery we visited for tastings, we found ourselves well looked after by each estate.
My only feedback is regarding the lunch at Rochford. As one dish was a little disappointing (a little under cooked). This was addressed straight away by Heath our tour guide and Rochford made sure we were accommodated for. All were happy with the outcome.
The choice of wineries and breweries at planning stage, was really important to me (as i was trying to accommodate for 30 people) and I had input into what would best suit my friends. Adam was easy to work with and had great ideas to help me.
I would recommend Wine Compass in a flash.

Great food at T’Gallant was a highlight and the fantastic cellar door experience at Bluestone Lane.

We had an awful lot of fun, touring the Mornington Peninsula. Willow Creek wine tasting was quite classy, Bluestone Lane wine tasting was a lot of fun, Tucks Ridge wine tasting was laid back, and T Gallant wine tasting came with lunch and lots of sweeter wine options.

We had a great time with Adam who arranged a last minute day for us on the Mornington Peninsular. Couldn’t have been smoother or easier. Lunch at Polperro was superb and the tasting with Sam the winemaker was lots of fun and very relaxed. – Anne – McKinnon
We booked this wine tour for my hens. If you are after a day out with the girls that is fun, realxing and hassle free then this is the tour for you. Adam was great to work with, he is very knowledgeable and always returned my emails which always helps when you are putting something like this together. The day went without a hitch, we had a great hostess and driver who took us to 5 Wineries and the Cheese factory. We had lunch at T’Gallant winery which was a nice spread of woodfire pizza’s for everyone to share. I was under the impression that we would all have our own pizza’s, however this ended up not being a problem at all as there was plenty for everyone and you do not leave hungry. They were also able to accomodate the Vegetarian and Gluten Free diets so everyone was happy. This was our favourite winery who were basically the only winery that served sweet wines, moscato’s. Red Hill offered a dessert wine, but the Moscato’s from T’Gallant was our favourite. We would have bought more wines from T’Gallant if we had known what was on offer at the other wineries. Don’t get me wrong though, the other wineries still had some very good wines. We enjoyed all of them and there was always something to suit everyones taste buds. I can’t recommend this company enough, they allowed mel to have an amazing day out for my Hens with my friends and family. We all really enjoyed the day. Thank you Adam, our lovely Host and driver for making our day and experience such a good one. Oh and the Cheese Factory was amazing!!!!
Just a side note, the day after our winery tour we went to the mornington markets and found a T’Gallant stall selling one of the Moscato wines for $10 cheaper than the seller door price which i found very disapointing. When you are buying more than 1 or two bottles of wines at the winery seller door you should be getting the best price, not to go to a market to find the same wine $10 cheaper per bottle. Bit cheeky if you ask me. – Sarah – Dandenong

We had a fun little winter wine tour with our guide Laura. There were 6 of us and Laura picked us up directly from our accommodation with her little mini bus. She brought us to 3 lovely Mornington wineries (including a lovely leisurely lunch) and drove us home afterwards. She was very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely book Wine Compass again. We basically told him what we wanted from the day and he did the rest! Adam was super prompt to collect us from Melbourne and take us to the hot springs, happily waiting while we took our time to relax before some wine action. We then proceeded to visit a great selection of wineries which included a really great spot for lunch – the gourmet pies were to die for! Adam had a lot of knowledge of the different wineries, grape varieties and general info on the Mornington Peninsular which was helpful being a Sydney sider! He even didn’t mind us popping open a couple of our bottles of fizz and turning up the music on the ride back to Toorak 😉 Really friendly, easy to deal with and very competitive on price, would definitely recommend. – Lauren – Toorak

Adam had a great knowledge of the area and provided us with excellent information about all of the wineries we visited. So hard to pick a favourite for the day. They were all fantastic. Was also great to visit a new winery in the area, Polperro! We had a 3 year old on our tour and every effort was made to accommodate this, including being able to strap the car seat into the bus, as well as the catering at lunch. We were celebrating a friends 60th birthday. It was a Mother/Daughter weekend. I contacted Adam and he tailor made a tour to suit us. Laurence collected us from our accommodation, He was friendly and obliging and was happy to do whatever we wanted.
